Terms of Cooperation
The basic rules for cooperating on a website. We'll confirm the specific brief and terms in writing before work starts.
1. Brief and agreement
The inquiry is the basis for our agreement. We confirm the scope of work, price and deadline in writing, for example by email. Cooperation starts after this agreement and payment of the agreed deposit.
2. Price and payment
We set the price individually based on the scope of the project. Prices shown on the website are indicative. As standard, I invoice a 50% deposit before work begins and the remaining 50% after you approve the finished website before launch.
3. Materials and deadlines
The completion deadline counts from receiving the agreed materials, such as copy, photos and access, and also depends on your feedback on the work in progress. If materials or comments are delayed, the launch date may shift too. We'll clarify what is missing when we agree on the brief.
4. Revisions and changes of scope
We agree the number of revision rounds included in the price as part of the brief. Please send comments together. Larger changes beyond the brief are quoted and agreed in advance.
5. Deployment, domain and other services
I help with deployment and the domain. You pay for the domain and hosting directly to the provider. The specific agreement must state whose accounts the domain, hosting and other services are held under and what the project price includes. Handover of access and any further care we agree on according to the needs of the project.
6. Ownership and code
Until paid in full, the website remains my property. After full payment you receive a licence to use the website and access to the source code for your own use.
7. Bug fixes
If a bug appears in my code within 30 days of handover, I will fix it free of charge. One round of small text edits within 14 days of launch is also included in the price. This does not apply to bugs caused by your own changes, outages of third-party hosting or changes to third-party services. Any further development and ongoing care we agree on separately.
8. Disagreements and contact
We resolve any disagreements first by talking them through. If you need to pause or end the cooperation, email me at jakub@snejda.cz so we can go through the state of the work and what happens next. These terms do not set a flat cancellation fee or a rule for refunding the deposit.
9. Withdrawal by consumers
If you act as a consumer, that is, outside your business, and we concluded the contract at a distance, you may withdraw from it within 14 days of concluding it without giving a reason. If you expressly ask me to start work before this period ends and then withdraw, you pay me a proportionate part of the price for the work done up to the withdrawal. A service that I began providing at your express request before the period ended and that I have provided in full can no longer be cancelled by withdrawal.
10. Personal data
I handle personal data from inquiries and from our cooperation according to the Privacy Policy on this website.
